Bell
Babysitter in Ulverston
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I'm a friendly, responsible and reliable childcare provider who will be starting a degree in Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy at university this September.
I'm looking for regular babysitting, after-school care and childcare roles, particularly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays when I am available throughout the day and evening.
I have experience working with children through a primary school work placement, as well as previous informal babysitting experience caring for younger children. I really enjoy spending time with children, whether that's playing games, doing creative activities, helping with homework or simply making sure they feel comfortable and looked after.
I'm patient, organised and approachable, and creating a safe, positive and caring environment is really important to me. I also hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car, so I'm happy to help with school pick-ups, drop-offs and activities where required.
I'm ideally looking for around 20 hours of regular work per week across my available days, although I'm also happy to discuss fewer hours or occasional babysitting depending on your family's needs.
Please feel free to message me if you think I could be a good fit for your family!
My Experience
*Primary School Work Experience
Completed a work experience placement in a primary school, supporting teachers and spending time with children in a classroom environment. I helped with activities and learning, interacted with pupils during reading, creative activities and games, and assisted with supervision during the school day. This gave me valuable experience communicating patiently and positively with younger children in a structured setting.
*Babysitting Experience
I also have previous informal babysitting experience, having looked after younger children for neighbours when I was younger. This involved supervising and entertaining the children, playing with them and making sure they were safe and comfortable while in my care.
*DBS Check
My Enhanced DBS check has been completed as part of the requirements for my upcoming university course and I am currently awaiting the certificate.
*First Aid
I have completed first aid training and have selected this on my profile.
*Driving
I hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car. I am happy to assist with school pick-ups, drop-offs and transport to activities by prior arrangement.
