Tianna
Babysitter in Letchworth
My Summary
About Me
I am 24 years old and from Letchworth. I went to John Henry Newman Catholic school in Stevenage, where I studied Level 2 Child Development and Level 3 Health and Social Care, alongside my other studies. I then went on to study Social Sciences BA at Kings College London for 3 years. Currently, I work for a charity called the Saracens Foundation who work across the community, from children in schools to adults with disabilities, to improve their lives through movement. I love to travel whenever I can! Included a 4 month trip to South East Asia last year, and plenty of weekend trips. My current work life is working from home 3 days a week, giving me the flexibility to work in the evenings on these days.
My Experience
I have worked in a number of care settings, starting with volunteering at a residential home when I was a teenager, helping the activities coordinator. Alongside my university studies, I also did a work placement for three months at a Women and Girls charity, called the Baytree Centre. Here I did admin jobs, as well as practical work with the girls, such as assisting in the classroom at after school clubs and helping out with their Christmas party. Last year, I work at the Valley school in Stevenage, where I worked 1-2-1 with children with additional needs, and also helped as a classroom assistant. My current job also means I continue to work in schools, holiday camps and after school activities. Although my day job is more in the business side of the charity, I do continue to work with children and vulnerable people and have a full and up to date DBS for this.
