About Me

I’m a mum to a wonderful 4-year-old boy, and for nearly three years I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of little ones and their families through Abuela Play Café in Coulsdon. It has been a dream come true but along the way, I realised there was an opportunity to create something even more special.

I wanted to create the kind of childcare I would choose for my own child.

So, in summer 2026, I transformed our much-loved play café into a beautiful, warm and modern childminding setting, exclusively dedicated to our little childcare community Monday to Thursday (the cafe is closed during these days).

Together with my two qualified assistants, I offer families what I genuinely believe is the best of both worlds: the beautiful purpose-built environment, resources, experiences and qualified team you would expect from an excellent nursery, combined with the small groups, individual attention, close relationships and flexibility you would hope for from a childminder or nanny.

Our days are child-led, play-based and full of opportunities to explore, create, move, make friends, get messy, ask questions and simply enjoy being little. But behind all that wonderful play is a thoughtful, forward-thinking approach to early education.

Alongside the EYFS, we intentionally nurture the skills we believe children will need to thrive in a rapidly changing world: confidence, creativity, communication, curiosity, independence, resilience, problem-solving and a genuine love of learning.

As a person, I am very creative, love music and dancing. I love Latin food and my family is my biggest treasure.
