About Me
I am a Mum to a wonderful 4 year-old boy; and I have been working with little kids and their families for nearly 3 years at Abuela Play Cafe Coulsdon which has been a dream come true! As a setting my team and I offer a truly personalised childcare experience rooted in our beautiful, purpose-built setting. We give your child the best of both worlds: the resources, structure, and qualified team you'd expect from a nursery, paired with the warmth, attention, and flexibility of a nanny or babysitter. Ours is a forward-thinking, avant-garde approach to early years care: child-led and play-based at its heart, but always with an eye on the skills your child will need to thrive in a changing world, both now and in the future. Nature, nurture, and community guide everything we do.
My Experience
I have over 12 years of experience in Learning and Development, and over the last 3 years I have specialised in Early Years after creating a welcoming and calming experience at Abuela Play Cafe in Coulsdon. In 2026 I went through my Childminder's qualification to formalise my experience and further shape this passion for early years education. I feel honoured to be part of early years community and my commitment is to always create a safe, creative and fun space for the little one's in our care, as well as a close partnership with their parents/carers to provide the best possible service.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Childminding Qualification, and members of my staff are Level 3 and Level 2 Childcare qualified. We all have Pediatric First Aids Qualifications, and in-depth Safeguarding training.
My Availability
Monday to Thursdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and occasionally on Friday/Saturday evenings or Saturday/Sundays during the day.
My Fees
- Childminding from £10.50 per hour
Our private hourly rate is £10.5 and this includes freshly cooked meals, consumables such as nappies, wipes, sun screen; and monthly special activities, classes or excursions.
