About Me
We’re Janek and Seema, first-time parents to a baby daughter born in August 2026. We live in a two-floor flat by Battersea Power Station.
We both work from home and are looking for a warm, experienced nanny to join our family long term. We’d love someone confident taking the lead during their working hours, while we enjoy joining for a feed or cuddle before handing back.
The role is initially live-out, moving to live-in around January 2027, with your own private bedroom and ensuite. Earlier move-in is possible by agreement.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced baby nanny for a long-term position.
The role:
• Feeding, naps, play, outings, baby laundry and keeping the nursery tidy.
• Light household help, such as groceries and tidying, during working hours when childcare allows.
• Six days a week, around 8–9 working hours a day, plus a separate 3–4-hour fully off-duty break while Mum takes over. Timings can follow a regular schedule or be flexible by mutual agreement.
• In London: daytime care until January 2027. From January, five nights of overnight care per week as well, including attending to nighttime wake-ups, with one full day and two nights off each week.
• Travel with us several times a year, with the first trip planned for November. While travelling, up to six days and six nights of care per week, with one full day and night off and protected daily breaks. Additional pay, hours and rest arrangements agreed before each trip, with travel expenses covered.
About you:
• At least two years’ nanny or maternity experience, including babies under one.
• Comfortable with overnight care and travel.
• Paediatric first aid, enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one, and excellent references.
• UK right to work, a valid passport and non-smoker.
What we offer:
• Salary agreed individually according to experience.
