Amy
Part Time Nanny Job in Harrogate
About Me
We are Amy and Ben. We live in Harrogate with our young baby and our two sausage dogs. We are looking for someone warm, caring and reliable who would enjoy becoming a trusted part of our family over the coming years.
We are looking for someone with whom we can build a long-term relationship, initially starting from around October (baby will be 3 months old at this point) with two days of childcare per week. One of these days would need to be a Wednesday, with the second day being flexible. We would ideally like around 3-4 hours of care each day.
When I return to full-time work when our baby is around 12 months old, this role may increase. At this stage, we anticipate needing help with nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as additional ad hoc childcare on a week-by-week basis, depending on our work commitments.
We also have two lively sausage dogs, so being comfortable around dogs is a must. They are very much part of the family and will be around the house.
A full driving licence and access to a car would be highly desirable, particularly as the role is likely to involve nursery runs and taking the baby to activities in the future.
The role would focus on caring for our baby, including feeding, changing, settling for naps and providing age-appropriate play and stimulation. We are keen to find someone with good experience of babies who can give us confidence that our little one is happy, well cared for and having a lovely time while we’re not there.
We are looking for someone who is kind, nurturing, trustworthy, responsible and proactive, with good communication skills and, most importantly, someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and young children.
