About Me

Hello, my name is Maya and i’m an 18-year-old who is available to babysit when possible. I would describe myself as a caring, responsible and trustworthy person with a genuine passion for working with children.

I really enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, fun and positive environment where they feel comfortable and settled. I believe I am patient, friendly and reliable and I enjoy getting to know each child and their individual personality.

I find working with children very rewarding and love supporting them as they learn, grow and develop in order to meet their milestones. I always aim to make children feel safe and cared for while giving parents peace of mind.

My Experience

I was awarded my Level 3 Childcare qualification in August 2026 which included childcare placements with children aged 0–5. I have experience working in a nursery setting which i’m currently working where I continue to gain valuable experience caring for and supporting children.

I have also worked at a swim school since the age of 13, where I gained experience working with children of different ages and helping them feel comfortable, confident and supported during their swimming sessions.

I am First Aid and Safeguarding trained and can provide a DBS check if required.
