My Summary

My Experience

I have several years’ experience working with children and young people in a range of settings. I currently work in educational psychology, where I have a particular focus on emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), supporting children and young people who experience anxiety or other emotional barriers around attending school.

Previously, I worked for the NHS as an Education Mental Health Practitioner, supporting children and young people with their emotional wellbeing. I’ve also worked as a teaching assistant and at children’s summer camps, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with the everyday, fun side of looking after children too.

I’m particularly experienced with school-age children and teenagers, including children who are neurodivergent, anxious or may need a little extra reassurance. I’m confident building trusting relationships, adapting to individual needs, helping with homework, planning activities and supporting routines such as meals and bedtime.

My Qualifications

My standard babysitting rate is £16 per hour. I’m happy to discuss rates for longer bookings, multiple children, overnight stays or regular arrangements.

My Availability

I’m primarily available for evening and weekend babysitting. During the week I’ll usually be available after 5pm, with greater flexibility on Friday evenings and at weekends. My university timetable may vary, so I’m particularly suited to occasional or flexible bookings, although I’d also be happy to get to know a few local families for regular babysitting
