My Requirements

I am going back to study just one day per week to start my own private practice in counselling. This may increase but for now it's one day per week I need childcare for. I need my first day on September 16th 2026 and would ideally like a few dates before then for my child to meet the childminder/nanny. I would need this from around 8am - 4/4:30pm. I do not wish to place her in care anymore than I have to and I am really struggling with that as so many people take a minimum of 2 or 3 days per week. While I appreciate that, I believe one day per week is still very impactful and still offers enough time for settling. My preference would be one on one with my child and making sure she has enough of everything of stimulation to outside play and space. Good foods, song and dance, sensory, sleep etc. I want the best possible care for her and much love. However if 1:1 is not possible I would like a clean and appropriate space inside a home with a nice garden that includes safe spaces for play. I would like my child to ideally be no more than 1 of 3 to a childminder. I do not like the idea of one person trying to juggle more than 3 children and meet all their needs.
