Registered Childminder with Special Needs Experience Job in Coleford
About Me
We have three children: a 21-month-old, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year-old who has undiagnosed PDA and finds mornings challenging. We need support on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7.30am with our 8-year-old — help with breakfast, getting ready for school, and a short walk to school (gates open 8.30am). Our younger two will be sorted and out by 8am with their dad. Some household help with clearing breakfast things would be helpful, though this will depend on how the morning goes with PDA and unpredictability.
My Requirements
It's essential that any provider is aware of PDA and familiar with a declarative language approach. We're happy to provide links to resources including PDA Society information, podcasts, and books to help them understand how best to support our daughter. We're very open to discussing our needs with anyone who might be able to help.
