Welcome to Little Hoddings Childminding! I’m a warm, caring, fully registered childminder based in Hodthorpe with over 11 years’ childcare experience, and a proud mum of two, I am Forest School trained and Paediatric First Aid qualified. I provide a safe, nurturing home-from-home following the EYFS framework, with a strong focus on outdoor learning, nature play and sensory exploration in my secure garden — climbing frame,tuff tray and more! I plan fun, child-led activities that support every area of development, adapt for all needs, and serve healthy home-made snacks breakfast and evening meals. Fully DBS checked, food hygiene certified, and passionate about helping children grow, explore and thrive in a happy, natural environment.
My Experience
I have over 11 years of hands-on experience caring for children from birth to school age, including raising my own children. I am Forest School trained and hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, giving me skills in outdoor safety, nature-based learning, and emergency care. I support children with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, potty training, meal times, and social development. I follow EYFS guidelines, create inclusive, stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, and adapt activities for different ages and abilities. I’m DBS checked, fully registered with Tiney, food hygiene compliant, and dedicated to providing high-quality, nature-rich childcare.

My Availability
I am available 7:30 - 6 Monday - Friday
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6.50 per hour
£10 morning school drop off
£7.50 per hour school pick up
£1 each for breakfast and tea
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Hodthorpe Primary School
