Hi, I’m Emily!
I’m a Preschool Room Leader and work with young children every day, which I absolutely love. I’m also currently studying Childhood Studies at university.
I’m a friendly, caring and reliable person and really enjoy spending time with children. I’m happy to get involved with play, activities, mealtimes and bedtime routines, and I’ll always make sure children feel happy and comfortable while you’re away.
I’m looking to offer babysitting alongside my job, mainly in the evenings and at weekends. I’d love to get to know some lovely local families and hopefully become someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with your little ones!
My Experience
I’ve been working with children for 7 years and have experience caring for children from babies up to Year 4. I currently work as a Preschool Room Leader, which I absolutely love, and have gained lots of experience supporting children with their learning, development, play and everyday routines.
Outside of work, I also regularly babysit for family members, who often call on me to look after their little ones. I’m a warm, friendly and caring person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I love getting to know their little personalities and making sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable.
My Qualifications
- BA Childhood Studies degree – currently studying
- Early Years Practitioner – professional experience since 2019
- Preschool Room Leader – current role
- Paediatric First Aid - up to date
- DBS checked
My Availability
I currently work Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, so my availability is:
Evenings – available after work
Weekends – flexible availability
School holidays – more flexible availability
I’m happy to discuss availability in advance and will always do my best to accommodate your needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
I charge £15 per hour. I’m happy to discuss rates for longer bookings, multiple children or any additional requirements.
