About Me
I am Aurélie, a French native speaker and English teacher, and I will be spending the year in Edinburgh as a French teacher at George Watson. I would be delighted to make the most of my time here to provide tutoring in French or English to pupils of all ages, for any goal!
My Experience
I have taught English to pupils of every age, from kindergarten to high school and superior studies, in various schools in France.
I have also taught French as a second language to asylum seekers as a Red Cross volunteer for several years.
My Qualifications
I graduated with a Master's degree in English teaching in June 2026 in France (University of Lille), with highest honours, top of the class.
I obtained the CAPES (national competitive exam for teachers) in June 2026 and I ranked first out of 1.013 candidates.
I obtained a bachelor's degree in English literature, linguistics, translation and history in 2023, graduating top of the class with 17.5/20.
