Ram
Registered Childminder with Special Needs Experience Job in Milton Keynes
About Me
I’m Ramatu, a working mum based in Milton Keynes. I’m looking for a warm, reliable and experienced registered childminder for my 17-month-old daughter Reignlyn. She is a happy, active and sociable little girl, and I’m looking for a nurturing home-from-home environment where she can learn, play and develop.
My Requirements
1. I am looking for an Ofsted-registered childminder around MK13/CMK or nearby who accepts the Government Free Childcare for Working Parents funding.
I am particularly interested in someone who provides age-appropriate EYFS activities, outdoor play, trips to parks/playgroups/libraries and opportunities for social interaction with other children.
Ideally I would like flexible childcare across the working week, potentially 4–5 shorter days if this can be accommodated within her funded entitlement. I am happy to discuss the most suitable arrangement.
French or Spanish language exposure would be a lovely bonus, although English should be the main language of communication.
Please let me know your availability, hours, fees/additional charges, funded-hours arrangements, Ofsted registration and what a typical day looks like.
2.Experienced SEND Carer Needed – Weekends
I’m a working mum in Milton Keynes looking for a kind, patient and experienced person to provide weekend support for my 13-year-old daughter. She is a very calm and lovely girl who has Down syndrome, is non-verbal and has significant developmental delay following an acquired brain injury. Developmentally, she requires a high level of support and supervision.
My Childcare Requirements:
I am looking for someone with genuine experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, particularly Down syndrome, non-verbal children and/or significant developmental delay.
Support would mainly be required at weekends while I work and may include taking her out for enjoyable activities, walks, sensory activities, soft play or other suitable community activities. I would also be happy with someone who provides structured and engaging activities at home.
She requires full supervision and assistance with daily living, including personal care/nappy changing, dressing and support with eating and drinking.
I am therefore looking for someone who is confident providing personal care and understands safeguarding, dignity, communication needs and supporting a child who cannot verbally communicate her needs.
A current enhanced DBS, references and relevant SEND/childcare experience are very important. First aid training would also be preferable.
Please message me with your SEND experience, qualifications/training, availability, hourly rate and the types of activities you could provide.
