Babysitter & Nanny – Various Families | 2019–Present
I have cared for children within their homes and have experience taking responsibility for their day-to-day routines. This has included preparing meals, following sleeping and bedtime routines, organising activities and games, and making sure children are safe and happy throughout the day.

Early Years Practitioner | July 2025–Present
Working in a nursery has given me valuable experience supporting children’s learning and development on a daily basis. I plan and facilitate activities based around children’s interests to encourage their curiosity, independence and confidence. I support children with their speech, language and communication through play and build positive, nurturing relationships with them. I also have experience following safeguarding, health and safety procedures and adapting activities to meet individual needs.

After-School & Holiday Club Assistant | 2025–Present
I work with school-aged children in a more relaxed environment, supervising them during after-school and holiday sessions. I plan and lead games, crafts and outdoor activities and enjoy coming up with things that keep children entertained and engaged. I also help with snacks and meals, maintain good hygiene standards and communicate with parents and carers about their children’s needs and wellbeing.

Childcare Assistant | 2024–2025
This role gave me experience supporting children with a range of learning needs. I helped children develop socially and academically by providing individualised support and adapting activities to suit their abilities. I used Makaton and British Sign Language to support communication and worked alongside teachers and other staff to make sure children received the right support.

Childcare Assistant | 2023
During my work experience, I spent time directly caring for and interacting with children, leading activities and games and helping with snacks and lunchtime. I particularly enjoyed getting involved in play and creating a fun environment for the children.

Children’s Sporting Assistant | 2019–2022
I worked with children in both group and 1-to-1 settings, supporting them during activities and making sure they were safe and enjoying themselves. I also communicated with parents and helped ensure sessions ran smoothly. This role helped me become confident working with groups of children and adapting my approach to different personalities and abilities.
