My Requirements

We are looking for a professional, energetic, dependable and warm nanny/ housekeeper to help with our two young boys. As we are both busy working parents and we would love to hire someone who is willing to jump into a “parents’ helper” role and take on whatever tasks we need help with that day. Ideally we are looking for someone who is interested in a long term commitment.

- The core responsibility of this role will be to look after our 1-year old son Alex, who doesn’t go to nursery yet, and finding engaging and age-appropriate activities to keep him busy and help with his development.
- Our older son Adam (aged 4) will be starting reception in early September (9-3:30). Although we plan to be super involved in drop offs and pick ups, having someone who can drive and help with this task is essential. You will then generally be expected to look after both children in the afternoons, which might include after school activities.
- We would also like help with cooking, household laundry, and dishes.
- We are flexible on exact hours, but 8am-7pm would be ideal. Our current part-time nanny is able to do Mondays and Fridays with us longer term, so we are open to candidates who can do Tuesdays to Thursdays, or the full Monday to Friday week. Bonus if willing to do a few hours on Saturday morning as well, so we can have a bit of down time. Our priority is to find the right candidate who can work well with our family, so we’re willing to discuss your preferred days and hours if you’re the perfect fit.
- My husband and I often work from home so we try to spend as much time with the children as possible but we expect the nanny to have sole charge during working hours even if we are around.
- The nanny will not be expected to walk our dog Freddie, but must be comfortable with pets and we may occasionally ask you to feed him or let him out into the garden for a pee.
