Hi I’m Maria and I have two boys, eldest is 9 and Danny who is nearly 7. Danny is autistic, has limited communication and can struggle with sensory issues, changes and separation from me. When he becomes overwhelmed he can get very distressed, so he needs someone calm, patient and understanding who is comfortable building trust gradually.
My Requirements
I’m looking for someone to come to our home in the Keady area regularly, perhaps for a session once or twice a week to begin with and to try form a relationship with both Danny and my older son I would stay at home during the first few visits to build this up while Danny becomes familiar with you. The hope would be that, once he is comfortable, I could eventually leave for appointments or a short break or to help at weekends
So Weekend availability is essential, with the possibility of one regular weekday session as well.”
