My Summary

My Experience

I worked at a summer camp in Maine for the past two summers for 3 months at a time. Held full 24/7 responsibility for the welfare, safety, and development of up to 10
children aged 5–10 across two consecutive summers, creating an inclusive and
enriching environment where every child felt valued and engaged. Proactively
fostered a sense of belonging, ensuring all children were included in activities
and supported with any individual needs. Led and managed a team of 6 staff
members in a live-in setting, conducting performance appraisals and providing
ongoing support and direction to maintain high standards of care. Upheld strict
health and safety protocols throughout, demonstrating strong leadership,
pastoral responsibility, and the ability to manage both people and priorities in a
demanding, round-the-clock environment. As well as my group of 5-10 year olds, I engaged with all age groups up to 17 years old. Planning creative activities that all children would enjoy. As well as encouraging children to participate in activities out of their comfort zone.

I have volunteered at the club Rainbows in my local area for around 2 years. During that time as well as caring for the children during their evening with us, I gained further experience in babysitting.

My Qualifications

9 GCSES A-C.
3 A-Levels A*-C.
Currently undergoing Business Management degree with year in industry complete in HR.
Advanced DBS check.

My Availability

I am in my final year of university, therefore meaning contact time is limited and often around then lunchtime and early afternoon. Meaning I have lots of flexibility.
