My Summary

My Experience

I've been babysitting for 16 years, including 13 years with one family. I watched their child grow up from 6 months old, and I'm still close with them (and several of their friends' families) today. Alongside babysitting, I've taught children's acting classes and worked as a camp counsellor at a children's summer school in NYC.
Over the years I've learned how to really listen and figure out how each child likes to play and communicate. I'm creative, playful, and practical if things get thrown at me. I love planning activities for my shifts, especially arts and crafts. Past projects include a child sized space rocket, a newspaper fashion show, and a whole miniature theme park.
I'm not a babysitter who sits on their phone. I'm fully engaged with your child, and that's genuinely my favourite part of the job. I can also cook simple meals if needed.

My Qualifications

I have 16 years of babysitting experience, alongside time spent as a camp counsellor for a children's summer school and teaching volunteer acting classes for young people from lower income communities in Los Angeles. I also volunteered on a crisis line, providing calm support to people in distress. I began studying psychology at Santa Monica College last year and am continuing it online.

My Availability

I can often be available if you need me last minute. If we have regular shifts, I can also make myself available for some additional evenings. I am an actor, so there would be chance I book a job, but I will always give you as much notice as possible. In terms of auditioning, most things are done virtually now, so that will only be a problem once in a blue moon.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

15 pounds an hour. Minimum 2.5 hours.
