My Experience

I've been a babysitter for 16 years. I started in New York and I'm still in touch with that first family today. When I moved to LA, I began babysitting a 6 month old, and ended up working with that family for 13 years, watching them grow up. I also became the babysitter for many of their friends, and we're all still close now. Alongside babysitting, I've also taught children's acting classes and worked as a camp counsellor for a children's summer school. I've learned how to really listen and figure out how each child likes to play and communicate. I'm creative, playful, and practical if things get thrown at me. I love planning activities for my shifts, especially arts and crafts (past projects have included a child sized space rocket, a newspaper fashion show, and a whole miniature theme park). I'm not a babysitter who sits on their phone, I'm fully engaged with your child, and that's genuinely my favourite part of the job. I can also cook simple meals for your children if needed.

My Qualifications

I'm often available at short notice. If we set up regular shifts, I can also make myself available for additional evenings. As I'm an actor, there's a chance I could book a job, but I'll always give you as much notice as possible, and since most auditions are done virtually these days, that will only arise once in a blue moon.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

15 pounds an hour. Minimum 2.5 hours.
