About Me
I have worked with young people (primary and secondary) for half a decade, firstly as an SEND TA in schools across the Bristol area and then as an apprentice Outdoors Activity Instructor at Mendips Outdoor Centre 25-26. During that time I have developed a varied skill set which makes me the perfect fit for a variety of families who want a balance of care, activities and fun for their child. I am DBS checked. I have qualifications in first aid, Archery, Water sports I am passionate about the environment and love being outdoors. I have worked extensively as the ‘public face’ of organisations: meeting and greeting in hospitality and at Mendips
My communication skills are excellent.I am able to discipline young people with patience and a strong sense of fairness. I have been in charge of classes of all ages and have a very strong sense of responsibility. This included liaising with parents and resolving problems. I gained some very positive feedback for this whilst at Mendips. I have an insiders view of SEND with personal and working in schools. Cruitally I would want your child to feel comfortable with me and create a support safe space for them.
My Experience
I have worked as an SEND teaching assistant for 3 years I then went on to do my PGCE in drama secondary. I have babysat for a range of ages from newborns, toddlers, to primary onto secondary. I have done overnights, looking after children who need regular medical checks to children who have high level SEND needs.

My Availability
I would like it that I can do Tuesday to Friday, If Monday is needed I can adapt. I'm open to overnights but I would like this to be very occasionally. Will do before school runs and stay until a parent or guardian is back.

- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
I charge the amount below as I've been in education for nearly 3-5 years, the first period was me being a SEND teaching assistant and the next was getting my qualifcation for a PGCE in drama. I feel it's resonable for the experience I have.
