Part-Time After-School Nanny Required – Scartho/Humberston

We are looking for a kind, caring, reliable and experienced after-school nanny for our 9-year-old daughter.

School: Scartho
Home: Humberston
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 3pm–7pm, with one evening each week until approximately 9pm
Term time: Approximately 39 weeks per year
Pay: £13 per hour + mileage

The later evening will be either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on my placement timetable.

The role

The role will involve:

* Collecting our daughter from school in Scartho
* Driving her to after-school clubs and activities
* Bringing her home to Humberston
* Preparing a simple snack/tea if required
* Supervising homework/reading
* General after-school care
* Staying until 7pm normally, with one evening each week until approximately 9pm
* Occasional babysitting by prior arrangement

Essential requirements

* Previous experience caring for children
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Own reliable car
* Appropriate insurance for transporting a child
* Enhanced DBS
* Excellent references
* Reliable, punctual, caring and responsible
* Ofsted registered, or registered through an appropriate childcare registration body
* Eligible to receive payment through the Childcare Grant Payment Service
* Able to provide the required registration details for the Childcare Grant Payment Service
* Able to maintain appropriate records/receipts

Desirable

* Paediatric first aid
* Teaching Assistant, school, nursery or childcare experience
* Experience with children aged 8–10
