About Me

I’m a friendly, caring and patient qualified teacher who loves working with young children. I enjoy making learning fun through play, music, stories, sensory activities and children’s individual interests. I’m passionate about helping children build their confidence, communication and independence.

My Experience

I currently work as a Nursery Teacher in EYFS and previously worked as a teacher in a specialist SEND school. I have experience supporting autistic children and children with speech, language and communication needs. I use Makaton, visuals, Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, communication boards and AAC devices, including Grid 3.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified teacher with QTS and a PGCE in Primary Education. I have professional experience across EYFS and specialist SEND education, as well as training and experience in communication approaches including Makaton and AAC.

My Availability

I currently work in a school, so I am mainly available at weekends. I also have greater flexibility during school holidays. I’m happy to discuss days and times to find something that works for your family.

  • Tutoring from £25.00 per hour

My fees are negotiable depending on the type of support required, length of sessions and location. I am happy to discuss your child’s individual needs and agree a suitable hourly rate with the family.
