About Me

Hey! We are a family of four living in SE23. Our kids are 9 and 12 and we've been living South East for 12 years now. We love the local community, all parks, cafes and restaurants!

My Requirements

After School Nanny

We are looking for an after school nanny for our 12 year old daughter. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 3.15pm to 5.30pm/6pm. Please only apply if you can commit to at least one year as we need consistency and someone who gets to know our daugher well.

The roles is based in our house in SE23, our daughter will be coming home with organised transport so no school pick up is needed but we need someone in the house to be there when she arrives.

Our daughter is autistic and has a learning disability so we are looking for a someone who is supportive, patient, joyful and empathetic. She is verbal and can express her thoughts, feelings, and needs well. We'd love to find someone who can help preparing dinner for the kids (our son is in a different school and won't be home on those days), and assist with some light household chores such as tidying her bedroom or getting groceries.

Experience & Requirements:

Neurodiversity Experience: Previous experience working with autistic children/young people and individuals with learning disabilities is ideal or someone who is open minded, interested and happy to learn and get to know our daughter well.

Communication Style: Someone who is an active, patient listener who listens to her voice, is empathetic, joyful and loves working with kids

Positive Engagement: Ability to design activities that match her interests and is happy to engage in her style of playing
