About Me

Compassionate, safety-conscious bilingual nanny (English & Mandarin) with 8+ years of childcare experience across the US, Australia, Taiwan and China. I care for children from infancy (0–2) through school age, including specialist support for children with autism (SEN). I love building warm, structured routines, nurturing natural bilingual language development, and creating playful, enriching days full of stories, music, sensory play and the outdoors. CPR & First Aid certified, with clean police clearances (Taiwan & US) and ready for a UK Enhanced DBS check. My Experience

Over 8 years I have worked as a live-in and sole-charge nanny for infants, toddlers and school-aged children in Japanese, American and Taiwanese households. I provided dedicated daytime SEN care for two children with autism (ages 6 & 10), using structured sensory routines and positive behaviour support. I have managed 24-hour sole-charge care during parents' travel — school runs, healthy meals, homework support and bedtime routines. As a bilingual kindergarten teacher and English teaching assistant I co-taught ages 3–5 and led after-school English immersion, and as a speech development assistant I guided a 2-year-old from single words to full sentences. I foster Mandarin/English immersion through storytelling, phonics games and everyday conversation, plus beginner piano, creative arts and water-safety guidance.

My Qualifications

CPR & First Aid Certified. Clean Police Clearance Certificates from both Taiwan and the United States, and ready to complete a UK Enhanced DBS check. BSc in Business Management (Organizational Leadership & Human Resources), Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English, with beginner Japanese. Experienced in Early Years Foundation (EYFS) support, developmental milestones, infant & toddler care, and Special Educational Needs (SEN / autism support). Professional, host-family and character references available on request.
