About Me
Hello! I'm Aya, a 20-year-old based in London. In my daily life, I am a 3rd-year medical student so hopping around different hospitals and GPs across East London. In my personal life, I absolutely love exploring! I visit museums, galleries and theatres on a weekly, as well as enjoying hiking, discovering new parks and having fun with friends. I am also the proud aunt of my beautiful 11-month-old niece who I spent every free moment with.
My Experience
My experience consists of various previous and current work positions. I tutored English for 3 years, interacting with children (ages 6-16) in a 1-1 and group setting. Additionally, I currently work at a science education centre, assisting and leading science workshops and shows for children and young people. I have worked many summer camp jobs, such as my most recent at a cookery camp for kids. My experience in healthcare also means I interact with children and their families on a weekly basis in a variety of settings, ranging from newborns in their homes to children visiting family in the hospital.
My Qualifications
I am Basic Life Support certified (I am a BLS trainer in my free time!), as well as having an enhanced DBS. I also have a Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety.
My Availability
I am available for ad-hoc babysitting, especially in the evening and weekends. I am available on some mornings and afternoons, just ask!
