About Me

Hello, I’m Kay, and I work alongside my husband Tom, who is also a fully registered childminder. Together, we are Wyton Woodlings Childminding.

We provide a warm, nurturing “home away from home” where children feel safe, valued and loved. As a small setting, we are able to build strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family, tailoring our care to their individual needs, interests and development.

Inspired by Montessori, Forest School and The Curiosity Approach, we encourage children to explore, investigate and develop independence through hands-on, play-based learning. We enjoy plenty of outdoor time in our large garden and local woodlands, with minimal screen time and a focus on real-world experiences.

Guided by the EYFS, we support every child's unique development through play, stories, songs, creativity and exploration. We nurture confidence, communication, resilience and independence, helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.

Our aim is to give every child the very best start in life, creating happy memories and helping them become confident, curious and independent learners.
