My Experience

I've babysat consistently since age 13, working with kids of all ages, including part-time nanny roles with infants and toddlers — and I babysat throughout all four years of university. From July 2020 to January 2021 (during my gap year), I worked as an au pair for families in Italy and London, handling housework, cooking, homework help, and general childcare. In January 2022, I worked as a part-time ski coach for kids, and for several summers between ages 15–17, I worked at a recreational camp in Michigan, USA assisting with swimming, sailing, golf, and tennis instruction for kids ages 5–14.

My Qualifications

I have held first aid certification specific to childcare on two separate occasions in the past, and I'm more than happy to pursue additional childcare qualifications (such as pediatric first aid or safeguarding training) if a family requires it for their children.

My Availability

I'll be based in Edinburgh starting late September for a minimum of one year, and I'm open to either part-time or full-time work.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rate is £15–16 per hour (may vary depending on number of children and responsibilities).
