My Requirements

Our childcare requirements

I will be working 8am–5pm, so I’m particularly looking for someone who can help with the following:

Wednesday & Thursday – Before school

Approximately 7:00am until school starts
Getting Amelia ready for school and making sure she has everything she needs
Preparing a simple breakfast if required
Ensuring she gets to school safely

Wednesday & Thursday – After school

Approximately 3:30pm–7:00pm
Collecting Amelia from school
Bringing her home and keeping her company until I finish work and return
Preparing a simple meal/snack
Helping with homework where needed
A calm, safe and supportive environment until I get home

During the September–December period, I am particularly interested in having before-school support because of my early commute and the darker winter mornings.

Occasional childcare

I would also like to find someone who may be available for occasional babysitting, including some evenings, weekends and, from time to time, an overnight stay. These would not be regular every-week requirements and would be arranged in advance wherever possible.

Tutoring

I am also looking for a tutor for Maths and Science who can support Amelia with her schoolwork, build her confidence and help her stay on top of her studies.

Ideally, I’d love to find someone who is dependable and who we can build a good, long-term relationship with rather than having lots of different people providing care.
