My Summary

My Experience

I have 3 years of teaching experience in the classroom and have taught students with a wide range needs, including those with SEND, e.g ADHD, Autism, selective mutism. I have taught KS3 and KS4 students at a variety of different levels, specifically including GCSE foundation and higher syllabuses. My approach to tutoring is student centred. Whether your child needs to focus on securing the basics for their level, taking the 11+ tests or is pushing themselves to achieve the top grades for their GCSEs, I will support them in achieving their goals. I will work to build their confidence in the subject and foster an environment where students feel safe making mistakes and asking for help, something that is not always possible for students in a large classroom.

My Qualifications

In 2017 I graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class BSc honors degree in Mathematics. I have industry knowledge from working in the finance sector for 3 years before going into my teacher training in 2021 where I gained a PGCE and QTS in teaching Maths from Turton Schools Direct in conjunction with Liverpool John Moores University.
I have 3 years teaching experience with a wealth of up to date curriculum knowledge from working at a school in Chorlton. From having participated in lots of personal development in adaptive teaching practices and trauma informed training, I have a toolkit to support every single student.

My Availability

I am available for sessions ranging from 30 minutes to an hour.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £50.00 per hour

My fees:
£30 for 30 minutes
£40 for 45 minutes
£50 for 1 hour

30 or 45 minute sessions are suggested for 11+ study
45 minute to 1 hour sessions for secondary school children
