About Me
Hello!
My name is Philippa and I have been working with children for over 15 years. I started my career working in a private day nursery as bank staff, working in the baby room up to the preschool room. During my time in this job I trained to be a primary school teacher have since taught in Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
I have recently had my own baby and would like to take a step back from the fast pace of teaching and instead put my energy into creating a warm, welcoming and engaging environment for babies and young children in my own home.
I am hoping to open early 2027 and I will have space for two children as my own daughter is counted in the ratio.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children, helping them learn and develop in their own unique way, and building a strong rapport. I have a passion for outdoor learning and creative play which can keep little minds and hands busy for many hours!
