My Summary

My Experience

I have gained babysitting experience through caring for children within my family and for friends, including an infant around nine months old and toddlers around two years old. My responsibilities included feeding, changing nappies, supporting with potty training, singing nursery rhymes, playing games and planning engaging activities to support the children’s learning and development.

I am also currently completing an apprenticeship in childcare, where I work full-time in a nursery with children aged from three months to three years. This has allowed me to build on my previous experience while developing my knowledge and understanding of how to support children’s development effectively. Through my apprenticeship, I am continuing to learn how to plan and provide age-appropriate experiences based on the EYFS and Birth to 5 Matters, while supporting children’s individual needs, interests and development.

My Qualifications

I have GCSE qualifications in English and Maths, as well as A-levels in Health and Social Care, Sociology and Psychology. I am currently working towards gaining a Level 3 qualification in Childcare as part of my apprenticeship, which is helping me further develop my knowledge and practical skills in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. I also hold a certificate in Paediatric First Aid training.

My Availability

I am available to work on weekends. On Fridays, I am available during the evening and night. On Saturdays, I am available throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights. On Sundays, I am available during the morning, afternoon and evening.
