My Experience

I have experience caring for children from newborns through to their mid-teens, both in my personal life and through my professional work.

I have worked with children with a wide range of needs, including neurodivergence and complex social and emotional needs, through my role within CAMHS. My experience includes supporting children with daily routines, activities, schoolwork and emotional wellbeing, as well as providing age-appropriate care and creating a safe, positive environment.

I have recently returned from three months in Nepal where I volunteered my time to work with children aged 8-16. This role involved living with six children and facilitating their daily routines. For example, each evening I would ensure dinner was prepared before sitting with the children to complete their homework.

I am trained in both baby first aid and standard first aid.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work (2:1) and am a qualified and registered Social Worker. I also have professional and personal experience working with children and young people from newborn to early adolescence.

I am trained in both Baby First Aid and standard First Aid, and have experience supporting children with neurodivergence and complex social and emotional needs.

My Availability

I’m currently a postgraduate student at the University of St Andrews and am awaiting confirmation of my timetable. My availability will therefore be confirmed once I receive my schedule, but I’m hoping to offer flexible childcare around my studies, including babysitting and regular nannying.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

My rates start from £16 per hour for babysitting, with nannying rates depending on the hours, number of children and responsibilities involved. I’m happy to discuss rates with families based on their individual childcare needs.
