About Me

Hi, I’m Kerryann - the childminder behind Masons Little Explorers. I have completed all my training and am awaiting my certificates. Looking to open in October.

I’m passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and confident to explore, learn and grow. I believe children learn best through play, positive relationships and experiences that follow their individual interests and needs.

At Masons Little Explorers, my aim is simple — to give every child a happy start, lots of opportunities to learn through play, and a place where they feel valued, listened to and encouraged to be themselves.

My Experience

I have over 15 years of experience working in retail, including 8 years as a Store Manager, where I developed strong skills in leadership, communication, organisation and supporting the development of others.
I’m also a mum myself, which has given me valuable personal experience of caring for, supporting and understanding children at different stages of their development. Being a mum has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, consistency and creating an environment where children feel safe, loved and listened to.
Alongside my experience, I have studied Childcare and Development, achieving my Level 2 qualification and awards towards Level 3. I’m also DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid certified.
I’m now bringing my professional experience, childcare knowledge and my own experience as a mum together to create Masons Little Explorers — a warm, nurturing and home-from-home environment where every child can feel happy, confident and encouraged to learn through play.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 2 in Childcare and Development, awards towards Level 3, a Level 4 in Management, and I’m DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid certified.

My Fees

Childminding from £8.00 per hour

My childcare rates are £8 per hour or £75 for a full day.
My fees include breakfast, snacks, lunch, tea and everyday activities and resources, so there are no hidden additional costs for these.

My Local Schools

I provide drop offs and pick ups at Bedonwell Infant and Nursery School
