About Me
Hi, I’m Kerryann, the childminder behind Masons Little Explorers, a small home-from-home childcare setting in Bexleyheath.
I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to be themselves. I believe children learn best through play, positive relationships and having plenty of opportunities to explore their own interests.
I keep my setting small so that I can get to know each child as an individual and give them plenty of attention, encouragement and support throughout their day.
I want Masons Little Explorers to feel like a home away from home — a place where children can play, explore, get messy, enjoy the outdoors, develop new skills and build friendships in a calm and caring environment.
For me, childcare isn’t just about keeping children busy. It’s about creating meaningful experiences, supporting their development and helping them grow in confidence while giving parents the reassurance that their child is genuinely cared for.
My Experience
My experience has given me a strong understanding of the importance of safety, communication, organisation and supporting individual needs.
I have a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Development, with additional awards towards Level 3, alongside a Level 4 qualification in Management. I am DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid certified, with safeguarding knowledge and training.
I understand that every child develops differently and I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where children feel supported, listened to and valued. I have an awareness of SEND and the importance of adapting activities and communication to meet individual children’s needs.
My previous career in management has also given me over 15 years of experience in communication, organisation, leadership, problem-solving and supporting the development of others. These are skills I now bring into my childcare setting.
As a mum myself, I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured about the person caring for their child. I aim to build open, honest relationships with families and work closely with parents to support each child’s individual routine and development.

My Availability
I offer childcare Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm, for children aged 9 months to 3 years.
I offer term-time childcare with selected holiday clubs throughout the year, giving families flexibility while maintaining a familiar routine for children.
I also offer school drop-off and pick-up at Bedonwell Infants & Juniors for families who need wraparound support.

- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8 per hour
£75 full day
My fees include:
- Breakfast

There are no hidden additional costs for meals, snacks or everyday activities and resources.
Funded childcare accepted for 9months -3 years
