Full Time Nanny Job in London Borough Of Tower Hamlets
About Me
We are an Indian family relocating to London from New York and looking for a wonderful, reliable nanny to join our family starting Monday, September 28.
We have an 18-month-old boy who is super active, curious, funny, and an all-around happy little guy. He loves to play, explore, and is constantly on the move — so we need someone who can keep up with his energy and enthusiasm!
Location: We'll initially be staying near Canary Wharf station/Isle of Dogs area. This is our temporary housing while we settle in — our permanent location will also be in the London area.
Starting as a Trial: Since we're new to the area and just getting settled, we'd like to start with a trial period to make sure it's a great fit for both sides. If things go well for us and for you, the position would be converted into a full-time, long-term role. We're hoping to find someone who grows with our family!
Schedule Monday to Friday, full-time (9 am or 10 am - 6pm probably). Occasional flexibility for late stays or weekends would be a bonus but not required.
My Requirements
Reliable & punctual — This is non-negotiable for us. We're both working parents and need someone we can count on every single day.
Energetic & engaging — Someone who will actively play with our son, take him to local parks and playgrounds, read to him, and keep him stimulated throughout the day.
Warm & nurturing — We want our son to feel safe, loved, and happy in your care.
Experience with toddlers — Familiarity with this age group and their developmental milestones, routines, and needs. Should be able to teach him how to eat with spoon, potty train etc.
Comfortable with outdoor time — We'd love someone who enjoys getting out of the house — walks, parks, toddler groups, etc.
Basic meal prep — Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for our son.
Light tidying — Keeping his play areas and feeding areas tidy, doing his laundry.
Open communicator — We appreciate regular updates, photos during the day, and someone who is comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
