My Requirements

Hi, I’m looking for childcare for my daughter Astoria, who turns one on 28th September. ?

I’m studying at university and will need childcare on Mondays and Tuesdays, roughly 8am–4pm, as I’m at university from 9am–3pm.

I’ll be receiving funding through university to cover the childcare/childminder fees.

We’re based in the Ribbleton area of Preston, but I’m happy to travel somewhere nearby or around UCLan/central Preston.

Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who will genuinely care for Astoria, support her and make her feel safe, loved and comfortable. I’d like someone who can help her with her daily routine, support her as she gets used to new environments and give her lots of patience, reassurance and attention.

I’m ideally looking for a qualified and experienced childminder who is fully DBS checked and has the appropriate safeguarding, health and safety and paediatric first aid training. I’d also like someone who is registered and follows all the relevant childcare requirements.

It’s really important to me that Astoria feels happy and secure with whoever looks after her, and that I can feel confident knowing she is in safe, caring hands while I’m at university
