I'm looking for a tutor for my 12-year-old daughter in the Ramsgate area. She should be starting Year 8 now but there are no school spaces available for her at the moment. She has ADHD and has been out of school since Year 4, so she's missed quite a bit of education. She needs patient, understanding support to help her catch up, build her confidence with learning, and manage concentration difficulties without feeling overwhelmed.
My Requirements
One hour per week at the moment, with the aim to increase as time goes on. She is strong in reading but needs support with maths and writing. She has a stim in her writing arm that's connected to emotions, which affects her writing, so she needs someone patient and understanding — not strict. She gets distracted very quickly and needs support to stay focused without pressure.
