Buds
Childminder in Witney
My Summary
About Me
Warm and welcoming home-based setting in Witney. My aim is to create a calm, nurturing and homely environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to explore the world around them at their own pace.
At Blooming Buds, I believe that children learn best through play, meaningful interactions and everyday experiences. I offer a balance of child-led play, thoughtfully planned activities, music and singing, sensory experiences, stories and plenty of outdoor exploration. We also enjoy regular outings and discovering what our local community has to offer.
I have a particular passion for early years development, babies and young children, and I love watching their personalities develop and seeing those little moments when they discover something new.
Being Italian, I also naturally bring both English and Italian into our everyday environment. Children are exposed to Italian through songs, stories, conversation and play, in a natural and relaxed way.
Blooming Buds is intentionally small, allowing me to build a strong relationship with each child and really get to know their individual personality, interests, routines and needs.
My priority is for every child to feel that Blooming Buds is a happy, safe and special place where they can simply be themselves, grow in confidence and enjoy their early years.
My Experience
My experience with young children comes primarily from being a mum and from caring for and supporting children in everyday life.
Through raising my own two young children, I have gained hands-on experience of the routines, needs and development of babies and young children, including feeding, sleep routines, settling, play, communication and supporting their growing independence.
I have also completed the training required to work as an Ofsted-registered childminder, including safeguarding and paediatric first aid, and I regularly continue to develop my knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and best practice in childcare.
I understand that every child is different, and I believe that taking the time to get to know each child's personality, interests, routines and individual needs is an important part of providing high-quality care.
