My Experience

Previously, I worked at an after-school childcare club, Newton Lang Childcare, where I worked twice a week at a local primary school. My role involved supervising and caring for large groups of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while creating a fun, positive, and engaging environment for them to enjoy until their parents or guardians arrived to collect them.Through this experience, I developed strong skills in communication, organisation, responsibility, and teamwork. I also gained experience in supervising and caring for young children, understanding their individual needs, and ensuring that they were both safe and comfortable. As part of my role, I developed basic food preparation and cooking skills by helping to prepare simple meals and snacks for large groups of children, while maintaining appropriate hygiene and safety standards. I also hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and have a full Enhanced DBS check, which I am happy to provide upon request. I am an enthusiastic, hardworking, and responsible individual who genuinely enjoys working with children and understands the importance in creating a safe and comfortable environment for children to enjoy.

My Qualifications

Whilst working at newton lang, i did lots of training towards working with children including the Prevent course and many others. i can provide certificates of all the training i have done. I have also got my paediatric first aid training certificate and a dull dbs check
