My Summary

My Experience

I have some experience caring for and working with children, alongside a strong academic and professional background in psychology, nutrition and wellbeing. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Durham University, a Master’s degree in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition, and I am currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.

My professional experience includes working with people with eating disorders and neurodivergence, which has taught me to be patient, compassionate and attentive to different needs, personalities and ways of communicating. I also have experience in academic research and have published research, so I’m very happy to help with homework, studying and learning activities.

I also have professional culinary training and a nutrition licence, so I’m confident preparing meals and love coming up with healthy, fun and tasty snacks for children while taking dietary requirements, allergies and individual preferences into account.

Although my direct childcare experience is more limited than my wider professional experience, I’m warm, responsible, calm and dependable. I would bring a thoughtful and caring approach to looking after children, while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, engaged and, most importantly, have fun.
