About Me
Hi, I’m Laura. I live with my husband, Callum, and our beautiful little girl, Summer, who is 6 weeks old. We’re a small, close-knit family and absolutely adore our little girl.
We’re both very hands-on parents and are really enjoying getting to know Summer and finding our feet as new parents. She is a lovely, happy little baby, although she can be quite unsettled at times and suffers with colic, so life can be a little chaotic!
Callum is returning to college soon, which is why we’re looking for some extra daytime support. I’m hoping to find someone kind, caring and experienced with newborns who can become a familiar and trusted person for our family.
We’re looking for someone who can provide a bit of practical support with Summer while I’m at home — giving me the opportunity to shower, eat, rest or occasionally have a nap, while also helping with settling and general newborn care.
We’re a warm and relaxed family and would really value having someone friendly and trustworthy around who can help us through this busy stage of life. ??
My Requirements
I’m looking for some regular daytime support with my 6-week-old daughter, Summer, while my husband is at college.
I’m ideally looking for someone with experience caring for newborns who can come to our home and provide hands-on support with Summer while I’m there. The main aim is to give me some time to rest, shower, eat or occasionally have a nap, while knowing that Summer is being cared for safely by someone experienced and caring.
Summer can be quite unsettled at times and suffers with colic, so I’d particularly value someone who is confident with soothing and settling a young baby, including when she is overtired or having a difficult day.
I’m also breastfeeding, so experience with newborn feeding and breastfeeding would be a bonus. I’d appreciate someone who can offer practical support with general newborn care and give me some reassurance as I find my feet as a first-time mum.
Ideally, I’m looking for around 4 hours on a Thursday, approximately 11am–3pm, and potentially 3 hours on a Wednesday, approximately 12pm–3pm, depending on availability.
I’m looking for a kind, patient and trustworthy person who I can feel comfortable having in our home and who can become a familiar face for both me and Summer.
