My Experience

I have extensive hands-on childcare experience through my 3 nephews and 4 nieces, including babysitting, school/nursery runs, homework, activities and day trips. My eldest nephew is autistic, and I've been particularly involved in supporting his social development, confidence and willingness to try new experiences.

I also completed work experience in a nursery as a teenager and studied Child Development at GCSE. In addition, I volunteer as an Independent Visitor for a child in care, building a consistent and trusting relationship and supporting her with activities and new experiences.

My career as a Senior Occupational Therapist specialising in mental health rehabilitation has further developed my communication skills, understanding of individual needs and ability to provide safe, person-centred support.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My standard rate is £13 per hour. I'm happy to discuss rates for regular bookings or depending on the number of children and the type of childcare required.
