My Summary

My Experience

Most of my childcare experience comes from looking after my nieces regularly over the years. I’ve helped with everything from keeping them entertained and preparing meals to bedtime and their usual routines. One of my nieces has ADHD and autism, so I’m also used to dealing with meltdowns, difficult moments and changes to routine. I’ve learnt how to stay patient, give them space when they need it and work with what helps them feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow each family’s own routines and the way they prefer their children to be looked after.

My Qualifications

I don't currently hold any formal childcare qualifications. I have completed food safety training through previous employment, which has given me experience with safe food handling and preparation. Most of my childcare experience comes from regularly caring for my two nieces since they were babies, including helping with meals, routines, play and bedtime.

My Availability

I’m mainly looking for daytime and weekend babysitting, although I can be flexible depending on the day. I’m happy to take on one-off bookings as well as regular arrangements and can discuss times and routines with parents beforehand.
