Live Out Nanny Job in Reading
About Me
We are a friendly family living in Earley, Reading, with a young baby and two older children. We are looking for a reliable and caring person who can become familiar with our family and support us on a regular basis.
We speak English and Chinese at home. Mandarin or Cantonese would be a bonus, but is not essential. We value someone who is patient, respectful, tidy and easy to communicate with.
My Requirements
We are looking for a part-time nanny-housekeeper / mother’s help. Initially, the role would mainly involve household support such as tidying, laundry, light cleaning, simple meal preparation and helping with baby-related chores.
We would initially be looking for around 2 hours of help per visit, as our household needs are fairly light at the moment. We are flexible on the exact days and times.
As we get to know each other and our baby becomes familiar with you, we would like the role to gradually include more baby care, and we would be happy to increase the hours if things work well. Experience with young babies would therefore be highly valued.
Good hygiene is particularly important to us, as our baby has sensitive skin. We are looking for someone who is careful about hand hygiene, cleanliness around the baby and baby items, and maintaining a clean home environment. A non-smoker is essential. DBS and paediatric first aid would be strongly preferred.
