PART-TIME NANNY REQUIRED – HAMPSTEAD

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our six-month-old baby boy every Friday, starting in November 2026.

Location: Hampstead, London
Days: Fridays only
Start date: November 2026
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and has experience looking after infants around this age. The role will primarily involve caring for our son and supporting his routine, including:

• Caring for him throughout the day and keeping him safe, happy and engaged
• Feeding and preparing bottles/food as appropriate
• Managing naps and following his sleep routine
• Nappy changes, dressing and general baby care
• Age-appropriate play and activities to support his development
• Keeping his nursery and baby-related areas tidy
• Light baby-related housekeeping
• Communicating with us about his day, including feeds, naps and activities
• Following our approach to routines, feeding, sleep and childcare consistently

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring and genuinely enjoys spending time with babies
• Experienced in caring for babies aged 6 months and younger
• Reliable, punctual and organised
• Calm and confident when caring for an infant independently
• Attentive to a baby's needs and development
• Proactive and happy to take the baby out for walks and activities
• A good communicator and comfortable working closely with parents
• Non-smoking
• Looking for a regular, long-term arrangement if things work well

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous professional experience caring for babies/infants
• Two recent, verifiable childcare references
• Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List
• Current Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant childcare qualifications are strongly preferred
• Ofsted registration is a plus

We are looking for someone who would ideally like to become a regular and trusted part of our family's life. If the arrangement works well for everyone, there is potential for the role to continue on a long-term basis.
