My Experience

I hold a PhD and have over 15 years of teaching experience at university level. I have taught students from primary school age through to postgraduate level across maths, science and engineering disciplines. I am a practicing university lecturer and a parent who has been through the 11+ process myself. I specialise in building genuine curriculum understanding rather than exam drilling — an approach that directly suits the new FSCE test format coming to Trafford grammar schools from 2028.

My Qualifications

PhD in Engineering from a top University. Practicing university lecturer with over 15 years of higher education teaching experience. Academic research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Extensive experience teaching mathematics and analytical reasoning from primary level through to postgraduate level.

• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour

Small group online sessions: £15 per child per hour. Groups are strictly capped at five students maximum. One-to-one online sessions: £45 per hour. One-to-one in-person sessions locally: £50 per hour. Free 20-minute diagnostic assessment for all new students. Block booking discount of 10% available for six or more sessions.
