About Me
Caring and supportive family of six looking for dedicated childminding support. We have four wonderful children, including our energetic 8 year old son, who has autism, epilepsy and is non verbal.
My Requirements
Our 8 year old son requires constant supervision at all times and full support with personal care, eating and keeping him safe. While he is mobile, he lives with hypermobility and epilepsy, which can make walking outdoors unsafe for him. As a result he uses a wheelchair when out and about, and he really enjoys being taken out for fresh air and walks in the wheelchair.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SEND childminder, who:
Has proven experience with SEND, with a background knowledge or experience in managing epilepsy strongly preferred.
Operates with strong personal initiative and self reliance to create engaging, creative play activities suited to a shorter attention span.
Possess the natural confidence and warmth to easily build a strong, trusting rapport with our son.
Has good physical strength and stamina to confidently assist with his mobility needs, manage him safely and keep up with his active energy.
