ABOUT OUR FAMILY
We are a family based in Derbyshire seeking a reliable, patient and suitably experienced home tutor to support our six-year-old daughter with her primary education. We value a calm, respectful and encouraging learning environment that recognises her individual needs, builds confidence and develops a positive attitude towards learning.
The tutoring will take place in our family home, with a parent or responsible adult present. We are looking to establish a consistent and constructive arrangement with a tutor who communicates clearly with the family and can provide appropriate progress feedback.
My Requirements
TUTORING REQUIREMENTS
We require a home tutor for our six-year-old daughter to provide structured support in the core curriculum areas, including English, reading, writing, spelling, mathematics and general study skills. The sessions should reinforce her current primary learning, strengthen essential foundations and support her gradual preparation for Key Stage 2.
We are seeking two weekly sessions:
• Monday — 2 hours, beginning at 8:45 a.m.
• Thursday — 2 hours, beginning at 8:45 a.m.
The ideal tutor will have relevant primary teaching or tutoring experience, a patient and supportive approach, good safeguarding awareness, suitable references and, preferably, an enhanced DBS check. Lessons should be age-appropriate, well organised and adapted to our daughter’s pace and learning style.
