My Requirements

I am looking for a reliable, responsible and caring person to provide regular before and after-school support during term time, Monday to Friday.

The main responsibility will be assisting with the school run for my 11-year-old son, who attends secondary school in St Albans, together with some support for my younger daughter, who attends school locally.

Morning: The role will involve collecting the children from our home in Bedfordshire, driving my son directly to his school in St Albans, and taking my daughter to her local breakfast club.

Afternoon: You will collect my son directly from his school in St Albans, collect my daughter from her school/after-school club, and bring both children home.

Depending on the agreed hours, I would also like some help settling the children at home after school — preparing a snack, making sure they are comfortable and generally helping them get organised for the evening.

I run my own business, so reliability and punctuality are extremely important. I am looking for someone calm, organised, warm and dependable who can become a consistent part of our weekly routine.

The successful person will need a full driving licence, their own reliable car and appropriate insurance for transporting children. An enhanced DBS check and good references will also be required.

This is a regular, long-term, term-time position, Monday to Friday. Exact hours can be discussed, but the role will involve both the morning school run and afternoon collection.
