Primary School Tutoring
I offer friendly, engaging and personalised tutoring for primary school children, helping them build confidence and develop strong foundations in their learning.
Lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, ability and pace. I create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
I can support children with:

My Experience
I am an experienced primary school teacher with 8 years of teaching experience, specialising in Key Stage 2 (KS2). I currently work with a tutoring company, supporting children to develop their academic skills, confidence, and enjoyment of learning.
I am a nurturing, friendly and approachable tutor who takes the time to understand each child as an individual. I adapt my teaching style, resources and pace to suit the specific needs and learning preferences of each child, ensuring that they feel comfortable, supported and motivated.
I also have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and understand the importance of creating an inclusive, patient and encouraging learning environment.
My aim is to help every child reach their potential by building strong foundations, developing confidence and making learning a positive and rewarding experience.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified primary teacher with a PGCE and a specialism in Mathematics, alongside 8 years of classroom teaching experience.
I specialise in Key Stage 2 and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in Maths. I enjoy helping children develop not only their knowledge and skills, but also their confidence and enjoyment of learning.
During my teaching career, I have also been a PE and PSHE Lead, giving me valuable experience in supporting children’s wider development, wellbeing and confidence.
I have experience working with children with SEN and understand that every child learns differently. I use my teaching experience and knowledge to adapt lessons to suit each child’s individual needs, helping them feel supported, capable and proud of their progress.
My Availability
Available most evenings and weekends. Can do daytime to help children who are being home schooled if notice is given.
