About Me
Hi, I’m Nicola! I’m a caring, friendly and responsible person who genuinely loves being around children. I’ve grown up looking after my younger cousins, from newborns up to 8 years old, especially when their parents were working, so I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages and keeping them safe, happy and entertained.
I’m happy to help with things like preparing meals, bath and bedtime routines, playing games, reading, helping with homework and keeping things tidy. I also really enjoy cooking and I’m used to keeping the house clean and organised. I know basic first aid and CPR, so I’m also prepared to stay calm and act appropriately in an emergency.
I’m patient, trustworthy and always willing to help wherever I’m needed. I’ve always wanted to do babysitting because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, and I’d love to become someone that both children and parents feel comfortable and happy around.
My Experience
I don’t have formal childcare experience yet, but I have lots of experience looking after children in my family. I’ve regularly looked after my younger cousins from newborns up to 8 years old while their parents were at work. I’ve helped with feeding, playing, keeping them entertained, getting them ready for bed and making sure they are safe and comfortable. I’m used to being responsible for children and dealing with different personalities and needs. Looking after my cousins has given me confidence around children and is what made me realise how much I enjoy childcare and would like to gain professional experience as a babysitter.
My Qualifications
I have completed First Aid and CPR training through college, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in an emergency. I also have hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to 8 years old through looking after my younger cousins. I’m responsible, patient and caring, and I’m keen to continue building my experience working with children.

- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My starting rate is £11 per hour. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on the number of children, their ages and any additional responsibilities such as cooking, homework help or light housekeeping.
