About Me
I’m a 57 year old mum of two daughters in their early twenties, a qualified teacher and practising artist. I currently work as a supply teacher in schools across North Wiltshire. I’m calm, responsible and attentive, with good communication skills. I enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, relaxed and positive environment.
My Experience
I completed my PGCE in Art & Design in 2016 and have since worked for six years as an art teacher in secondary schools. Before this, I independently ran art courses and workshops for both adults and children alongside my own practice. I currently work with children aged 11-16, teaching a range of subjects through a supply agency, as well as directly for a school where I previously taught Art.
Alongside my professional experience, I am a mother to two daughters and a stepmother to four children. I understand how important it is to leave your children with someone who is trustworthy, responsible and attentive, but also warm and kind. I would want to provide the same reassurance and care for another family that I would want for my own children.
